  Categories |

| AsiaTEFL shall provide for the following categories of membership: |
|
- Individual Members (Full) : This category is open to individuals who paid membership fees
- Individual Members (Associate) : All members of AsiaTEFL who had joined during the free membership era, prior to the present paid membership period, had their status changed to 'associate member' if they do not take out full membership of AsiaTEFL. This status allows them to continue to receive notifications and updates from AsiaTEFL. The free membership system was discontinued as of June 2014.
- Institutional/Corporate : This category is open to commercial organizations that are dedicated to the goals of AsiaTEFL and are willing to support AsiaTEFL in attaining those goals.
