Prof. Bernard Spolsky passed away on Aug. 20, 2022. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Prof. Bernard Dov Spolsky (1932-2022), emeritus professor of linguistics at Bar Ilan University, and one of the world experts in the field of socio-linguistics. One of AsiaTEFL’s founding and lifetime supporters, Prof. Spolsky served as Journal Editor-in-chief and the Executive Director of Publication in AsiaTEFL for many years. He will be missed greatly. We extend our deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace! |
