Remembrance of our friend, the late Prof. Gana

It was Feb. 18, 2021, one year ago, when we were all shocked to hear that our friend, Vice President Prof. Ganakumaran Subramaniam had suddenly passed away.

In commemoration of his 1st anniversary, we remember with gratitude his passion and zeal for AsiaTEFL. It was he who had initiated the Webinar series for AsiaTEFL, and we know that it had turned out to be a great success last year due to the great efforts of the dynamic team consisting of Malaysian and Thai scholars led by Prof. Pragasit Sitthitikul, his successor.

The late Vice President, Prof. Gana’s academic passion and upright and sincere way of life will always be a sterling example for us, and it is now a part of the precious legacy of AsiaTEFL.

AsiaTEFL will remember him forever.

The video below was made for the virtual memorial ceremony held on Feb. 20, 2021.
