  1. Call for Papers for 2017 Asia TEFL Proceedings

    Submission guidelines

    Asia TEFL welcomes submissions from presenters at the 2017 Asia TEFL International Conference. Manuscripts should be consistent with the contents of the presenter's conference presentation. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by a review committee and only accepted papers will be published. Around 30 selected articles will be included in a proposed book to Cambridge Scholars Publishing (CSP) themed 쏣LT in Asia in the Digital Era: Global Citizenship and Identity. (Note: If the proposal is rejected by CSP, the selected papers will be published as the Asia TEFL e-Proceedings.)

    To submit a manuscript, please send your manuscript and a cover letter to Yoonhee Choe, Managing Editor via email to: asiatefl.proc@gmail. Only MS Word files are accepted. The cover letter should include the names and contact information for all authors. In addition, author biographies (maximum 50 words per author) and the original conference presentation abstract should also be included. Manuscripts should be 2,500-3,000 words including references, notes, and tables. Please indicate the number of words at the end of the manuscript. Manuscripts must be preceded by an abstract of no more than 150 words.

    The deadline for submission of papers is September 1, 2017.

    <General Submission Guidelines>
    1. Manuscripts should not have been previously published and should reflect the content of a 2017 Asia TEFL International Conference presentation.
    2. All submissions should conform to the specifications of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.).
    3. All submissions should be accompanied by a cover letter including full contact information for the authors (mailing address, telephone number, and email address), author biographies (maximum 50 words per author) and the original 2017 Asia TEFL International Conference presentation abstract.
    4. Multiple submissions from the same author will not be accepted.
    5. The editors reserve the right to make editorial changes in any manuscript to enhance clarity or style.
    6. Submitted manuscripts will be screened to verify the originality of the paper using plagiarism detection software. Whether a paper is to be reviewed will be contingent upon the results of the similarity report.
