A Message from AsiaTEFL Presidents

Warm greetings to all members of the AsiaTEFL fraternity.

We aim to further energize AsiaTEFL into a vibrant organization that meets the academic needs and aspirations of its members. Our efforts during our term will be on encouraging ELT-related research and other activities whereby teachers of English may be able to participate and gain valuable experience, particularly for classroom teaching, for creating teaching materials, and for honing-up their language testing skills.

We would like to create a fraternity that interacts with one another not only in annual conferences but, throughout the year, in Webinars or Research Networks. We would like to create conditions whereby members feel the need to conduct research and also to publish their valuable findings either in the Journal of AsiaTEFL or in the AsiaTEFL Book Series.

We seek your support in making AsiaTEFL more dynamic and at the same time more responsible for meeting the needs of the English language teaching community in Asia.

Let us move ahead together.
