The 18th AsiaTEFL International Conference's theme is “Interweaving Theory and Practice in ELT in Asia: Creating New Prospects for the Future,” which stresses the importance of applying theory to the classroom.
Setting a new norm and adopting new approaches in the context of COVID-19, the AsiaTEFL 2020 International Conference is held from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, November 27, Friday until 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2020 online and KINTEX, in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. All presenters not in Korea are to present online only and those in Korea can present online or in person.
Having been selected as a promising international conference for growth in the Korea Tourism Organization's meeting technology competition, AsiaTEFL 2020 will be Introducing diverse technologies including Hologram Telepresence, MC Robot, Virtual Presentation, AR/VR, Smart Chatbot. It will be another greatly successful and most memorable conference ever despite this unprecedented threat of the pandemic.
